Susan Strong, CFP® - Financial Planner

Susan Strong joined Stavis Margolis Advisory Services, Inc. in March 2007 as a Financial Planner, where she brings her international experience and expertise in the telecommunications and financial fields to provide highly personalized reports to our clients to help them achieve their goals and live their dreams.

She worked for Whalen, a Canadian company, as their national wireless communications project database manager. Susan transitioned into the financial services industry by becoming the Financial Planning Assistant at Sussex Financial Group, Inc. in Deerfield, Illinois. Escaping the cold, Chicago winters, Susan moved to Houston and accepted a position with FCA Corp as a Financial Planning Associate, as she complete the Certified Financial Planner™ certification education program at Rice University and became a CFP® professional in July 2005.

Susan graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Computer Science. Susan is a member of the Financial Planning Association. She holds FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses. She is a registered representative with and offers securities through  FSC Securities Corporation. Member FINRA/SIPC. Advisory Service offered through Stavis Margolis Advisory Services, Inc., a registered investment advisor not affiliated with FSC.

Susan is an active member of St. Philip Presbyterian Church in Houston. She is also a member of American Mensa. Susan roots for her beloved Purdue Boilermakers, Chicago Bears and Cubs, as well as her newly adopted Houston Texans and Astros. She has visited 48 states thus far, and looks forward to rafting down the Snake River in Idaho and cruising to Alaska to complete the list.
